With 230,000SF of space, the new MU Student Center offers students plenty of space to “hang out” as well as a veritable “mini-city” of resources.  MMA, working in conjunction with Holzman Moss Bottino, designed a complete renovation, partial demolition, and expansion of the $44 million student center.  The complex includes a wide variety of student activity and support spaces, including the MU Bookstore, the Center for Student Involvement, and a variety of lounges and meeting rooms.  Several food concept islands serving salads to sushi were designed to reduce queues during peak hours and respond to student schedules and food preferences.
