MMA.edu

This year marks the official beginning of MMA.edu, an internally developed best practices program designed to enhance Mackey Mitchell’s continued goal of life-long learning.  MMA.edu focuses on lectures and mentorship programs for all MMA staff members.  The syllabus covers the “four-quadrants” of our core values which focuses on people; financial issues; craft; and clients.

To begin this worthwhile mission, presentations have been given by Gregory Keppel on his experience at Studio 804, an innovative design-build studio at the University of Kansas School of Architecture, Design and Planning.  Architect Nick Nager conducted an on-site visit to explain the unique wall construction techniques at Webster University’s School of Business project. The program will continue throughout the year with round table discussions, site visits, and lunch and learn sessions to accomplish the dual task of “learning by teaching,” and knowledge sharing.
