In early October, John Burse, AIA, LEED AP, will make his way to Boston for the 10th Annual Leadership Summit on Sustainable Design. The event is part of the Design Futures Council where a network of design, product, and construction leaders gather to explore global trends that shape the future of the built environment. John has spent 10+ years toward the revitalization of Old North St. Louis to help bring people together in a shared vision  of a vibrant, sustainable, and diverse village. He was recognized for his efforts with an “AIA Young Architect’s Award”, a “What’s Right With the Region Award,” promoted by FOCUS St. Louis, and the “Above and Beyond”  and “40 Under 40” awards sponsored by the St. Louis Business Journal.  He was project designer for the LEED-certified Ridgway Student Center at the University of Evansville, IN.
