Artistic Enrichment

As part of an artistic exercise, architect Gwynn Zivic has spent the last few Friday evenings in an educational class called Drawing in the Galleries at the Saint Louis Art Museum. Designed to improve observational skills, the class helps increase a student’s ability to interpret what is seen using a variety of drawing media. Gwynn recently produced a charcoal drawing of a female bust in the museum’s African Collection. Through various drawing assignments, she continues to refine visual skills which strengthen her capabilities in architecture and graphics. Her participation in the program reflects Mackey Mitchell’s principles of life-long learning and the value of continuous personal growth.
