The February, 2013 issue of the Zweig White Newsletter  (a business management resource for the A/E industry) featured a  Mackey Mitchell profile (pages 9-10) outlining some things the firm does best.  In the story titled “This Firm Leads by Example,” author Lisa Sullivan comments on how the company has survived during the economic downturn and how people are rewarded for their good work. “Architecture requires years of knowledge,” says Gene Mackey, founder. “If we share our knowledge and keep people here, we’ll be a smarter firm. We never lose sight that a satisfied client is more likely to result when you have an experienced, dedicated, and communicative staff. A company really exists as a stage on which people perform to achieve their full potential.”
