University of Missouri - Kansas City Johnson Hall Residence

The new Johnson Residence Hall is the first project within the University of Missouri system to receive LEED certification.

• The new LEED certified Oak Street West Residence Hall offers a renewed resolve toward enhancing residential life for UMKC students through a true living-learning environment. Housing 328 beds, the 4-story residence hall features two wings of semi-suite, double and single occupancy rooms connected by a glass enclosed corridor. Each wing features a large multipurpose room, private study areas, a lounge and entertainment room, and a community kitchen. Three secured rooms are also available for music practice.
