- As one of the nation's top technological research universities, Missouri S&T in Rolla is known for its focus on academics, hands-on learning, undergraduate research and innovative programming. To accommodate the university's housing needs, MMA was hired to develop a Housing Master Plan and was subsequently commissioned to design Building 1 and 2 Residential Colleges. Building 2 adds 146 beds to the campus housing. The first floor contains a faculty apartment, break room, computer lab, laundry room, lobby and shop spaces. Upper floors feature study lounges, resident advisor suites, and a combination of single and double suites. Together with the first hall, Residential College 2 creates a new campus quad and provides up-to-date housing to meet the needs of this top-tier university.
