• Mackey Mtichell was invited to collaborate with the Nerinx Hall Community to map a vision for their future. Phase I of the master plan, completed in 2004, is currently under construction and will add art and music classrooms, a sports field and a 386-seat, full fly theater to their campus. Known throughout the region for exemplary musical and theater performances, the facility will help students realize their potential.
• The 35' x 75' stage with caliper extensions at the same elevation of the cross aisle , will support a 100+ person cast. Scenery materials can arrive via the new dock, be built in an attached shop, and fully flown in the 40' clear loft. Musician practice rooms are adjacent to the stage with a completely recessed orchestra pit. Dressing rooms, art rooms and costume design and storage areas support the facility as well. A gracious lobby area with views to the mature landscape will welcome visitors and showcase student art.
