Mackey Mitchell is proud to support Habitat for Humanity’s 2011 Build.  Architects Matthew Roeder, Tom Peterson, and John Burse along with BIM Support Specialist Kevin Symons are assisting HFH with their construction documents by implementing ArchiCAD, Graphisoft’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. ArchiCAD (generously donated to HFH by  Graphisoft), seeks to reduce the amount of time needed to produce construction drawings as well as evaluate potential design conflicts before they occur during actual construction.  This year’s build, scheduled to begin in late June, consists of five models (one and two-story schemes) strategically located throughout the Old North St. Louis neighborhood.  Working with Habitat for Humanity has been a great opportunity to give back to our community  by using our expertise to help provide affordable housing to those less fortunate.
