What's the Good Word?

As part of the graphic design program at the new Williams Village Student Housing at the University of Colorado – Boulder, the Mackey Mitchell and Aller Lingle Massey project team helped define floor identification by color and by painting a large word on each floor from the school’s creed, such as respect, honesty, integrity, etc. Based on a comment by the university’s project manager, students seem to already be incorporating the words into each floor’s identity.  “It’s exciting,” said university representative Heidi Roge “that this design feature could actually improve students’ behaviors.”  It looks like students are taking ownership of their floor “word” and are using it to identify themselves.
