A Warm Welcome to New Faces

Following the arrival of Destiny Silva and Jennifer Davis to the MMA team in January, we have added even more talent to our ranks! We are ecstatic to announce the addition of seven more outstanding new hires, along with six summer interns. These individuals have hit the ground running and are already making significant contributions to our projects and company culture with energy and enthusiasm. We are thrilled to have them on board and eager to see all that they will accomplish!

 

Kennedy Scaggs initially joined MMA as a summer interior design intern and continued her journey with us as a part-time employee while pursuing her Interior Design degree at Maryville University. We are thrilled to share that in May 2023, Kennedy graduated and transitioned to a full-time position within our team. Since joining us, Kennedy has proven to be an exceptional asset, bringing additional expertise to our firm’s interior design capabilities, and making significant contributions to our projects.

Sydney Warman joined our Office Administration team in March. With a wealth of experience in providing administrative support and project assistance, Sydney brings a wide skill set that includes exceptional organizational abilities and delivering high-quality results.

Nick Hawksworth started with MMA in March as our IT Administrator, bringing a robust background in technology infrastructure management, network troubleshooting, server maintenance, and desktop support.

Emily Godefroid, our talented Marketing & Communications Coordinator, joined us in May. Emily’s specialty is crafting and implementing effective strategies that amplify brand awareness, drive lead generation, and foster strong customer engagement.

Baili Null came aboard in May, joining our quickly growing architectural staff, and is eager to contribute to our many projects across the country. Baili graduated from Washington University with a Master of Architecture degree, preceded by a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Environmental Design from Bowling Green State University.

Onkar Joshi, an architectural staff member, joined us in June and brings expertise in architectural design and XR prototyping. Onkar graduated with a Master of Architecture degree from Syracuse University and has a breadth of architectural experience from conceptual design through construction documents.

Edward Dong joined us as a summer intern and is driven by his passion for crafting meaningful spaces. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis with a minor in Psychology and Brain Science, further demonstrating his commitment to taking a holistic approach to his work.

Isabella Wilhelm, another talented summer intern, is currently pursuing her Master of Architecture and Construction Management at Washington University in St. Louis following a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Central Florida. Isabella’s educational background highlights her dedication to enhancing her skills and knowledge in the field.

Lillie Boero joined our summer intern program bringing a range of unique experiences, from communications to design. Her internship focuses on the intersection of architecture and marketing by utilizing her creative skillset in both areas. Lillie is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Architecture at Washington University in St. Louis.

Jose (Pepe) Vega Toral is a versatile summer intern with a skillset that includes sketching and modeling. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Architecture with a minor in Preservation Design from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) and is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at SCAD.

Sam Philips joined MMA in May as another talented addition to our summer intern cohort. Currently a fourth-year student pursuing his Master of Architecture degree at the University of Kansas, Sam’s exceptional design skills have already gained recognition, as he secured first place in the AIAS Studio Made National Design Contest.

Jewel D’Cruz first joined MMA’s Dallas office in 2022 as a summer intern focusing on interior design, and we are thrilled to have her rejoin us as a full-time employee! Jewel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her expertise brings a fresh perspective to the team.

Jared Fasshauer is another addition to our summer intern team, bringing an abundance of knowledge that extends beyond architecture to include spatial planning and information design. Jared’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Building Science & Sustainable Design from Pennsylvania College of Technology, where he graduated magna cum laude, and he is currently pursuing a Master of Architecture at Clemson University.
