Limestone column components await installation at the site for the new Downing University Center at Western Kentucky University. Construction is underway on this state-of-the-art renovation project. Cascading stairs inside the building, accented with generous landings, bay windows, and balconies, will link the different levels.  Mackey Mitchell, in collaboration with Architect-of-Record RossTarrant Architects designed this innovative, sustainable space that will benefit the entire WKU community. Mackey MItchell’s project team includes Dan Mitchell, John Burse, Jim Konrad, Stacey Wehe and Merrilee Hertlein.
