Feast magazine ran a feature story on the award-winning Bistro Box, a project that emerged from the Washington University Sustainable Land Lab competition. Mackey Mitchell principal John Burse and local landscape planner Jim Fetterman entered the competition with a plan for a cafe and culinary incubator to be built with used shipping containers. As one of four winners in the competition, their idea is on its way to becoming a reality. It’s an intriguing concept and a great story.
