AIA Missouri has appointed Dan Mitchell, FAIA to serve as the St. Louis region’s representative for the Missouri Design Alliance. This group represents architects, professional engineers, landscape architects and land surveyors who meet regularly to discuss professional regulation and registration issues. According to the AIA, “Over the years, Dan has become a spokesperson for public safety concerns as well as for the architectural profession. The appointment specifically deals with proposed changes to Chapter 357 of the Missouri State Statutes dealing with the practice of Architecture, Engineering and Landscape Architecture.”
