One year later…

Students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison enjoy the fire circle and the outdoor dining pavilion located on the building’s north side facing Lake Mendota.  Last August, 400 students moved into Dejope Residence Hall, named for the American Indians who were located in the Madison, Wisconsin four lakes area for thousands of years. The residence hall has features that recognize the influence and importance of tribal culture and of the lakes.

Students enjoy a variety of campus amenities including a technology learning center, TV lounge with fireplace, a convenience store and a music practice room to name a few.  Four Lakes Market offers a variety of custom menu choices while the “Bean and Creamery” serves Starbucks coffee, ice cream, and bakery treats. The Mackey Mitchell project team includes Dan Mitchell, Gwynn Zivic, Greg Frankenfeld, Andy Noll, Gregory Keppel and Clint Smith. Engberg Anderson served as the Architect-of-Record.
