Mackey Lecture at Beacon Festival

The tag line for this year’s Beacon Festival is “taking you places you’ve probably never been before…” On Friday, June 3rd at 4:00 pm, Gene  Mackey will be discussing the importance of architect Louis Sullivan to St. Louis architecture in the Hotchkiss Chapel at the beautiful and historic Bellefontaine Cemetery, followed by a special tour of Sullivan’s Wainwright Tomb. Wine and hors d’oeuvres will be served following the talk. Tickets are $30 each and can be purchased from the St. Louis Beacon. The Beacon Festival was inaugurated in 2010 to connect readers of the St. Louis Beacon and friends to experiences, interesting places, important topics, and fascinating people.
