Continuing the fine art of Belgian Waffle-making, Avik Guha once again wowed the staff with a Friday morning breakfast feast. Buttermilk, cinnamon, pumpkin spice, whole wheat, and even vegan waffles were offered as part of Mackey Mitchell’s continuing Friday morning “Breakfast Club.” Along with an assortment of beverages, Avik’s fresh individually prepared waffles were enhanced with a variety of toppings, including walnuts, blackberries, white and dark chocolate chips, maple syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, and a fresh fruit blend. Avik especially enjoyed preparing his specialty in the new kitchen with its center island and lots of preparation space. Turnout was great – but what else would you expect?
