Mackey Mitchell’s 6th annual chili/soup cook-off had a record number of entries this year. Greg Frankenfeld took first place for best chili, customizing the recipe somewhat to kick up the spice and add color, while Mike Benz won in the best soup category.  Each winner received a $50 gift card to Trader Joe’s.  Thanks to Matthew Roeder for organizing the event for the sixth year, and to all those who entered:  Kevin Symons, Gregory Keppel, Stefanie Barnes, Margie Fank, Beth Kutterer, Lea McRoberts, and Matthew Roeder.  We also appreciated  those who contributed sides, desserts and beverages. We’re all looking forward to the 7th annual event to be held next November!
