Mackey Mitchell provided advanced programming and design for the new University Suites and Eastside Suites at the University of Nebraska – Lincoln. Past collaborators BVH Architects with Sampson Construction executed MMA’s design through a design-build delivery. Opened in the Fall 2013, University Suites will feature 512-student beds and a variety of community spaces. The adjacent Eastside Suites, scheduled for completion in the Fall of 2014, will provide an additional 528 suite-style beds. These new buildings form a new residential neighborhood with the Robert E Knoll Residential Center, completed by MMA in 2009 with BVH Architects and Sampson Construction.
